About Me
In March 2018, I successfully defended my dissertation and earned a Ph.D. in Human-Centered Computing from the Computer and Information Science and Engineering Department in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering at University of Florida. I will graduate in May 2018. I received my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Hampton University in 2011. In that same year, I became a SMART Fellow. I earned Master's Degree in Computer Science from Clemson University in 2014. My dissertation research centers on reading focused learning technologies. I have held several internships that have involved web design, statistical simulations and most recently, robotics. I have recently accepted a position to work as a civillian Scientist for the United States Navy. More personally, I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. My non-CS related interests are music, poetry, history and astronomy.
